My Beliefs

Successful trainers are not born...it is a learned skill that is developed over years of practice. I have invested countless hours of study in my field, and many years of focus and honing my craft. Below are my beliefs and techniques which have proven to increase retention by more than 25%.

BELIEF #1 Trainers have more impact on the success of a company than any other single position. Many think they can train...few do it well.

BELIEF #2 Integrity and consistency are the guiding forces in my personal and professional life. Our beliefs are the one thing that define each of us as a person. This includes honesty, punctuality, humility, and truly caring about other's advanvement. Many people follow the "Golden Rule", I choose to follow the "Platinum Rule." (If you want to know more about the Platinum Rule" give me a call!

BELIEF #3 All training sessions must be R.I.P.E.R.

R is for Readiness...Getting them mentally ready to learn is the first step. (The mind is like a parachutte...it does not work unless it is open)
I  is for Intensity...A presentation or facilitation must be exilerating and have active participation or adult students will lose interest!
P is for Primary...They must get the information right in their mind the first time and have a clear visual of what the end result will look like.
E is for Excersize...Transferring knowledge to physical action is key, practice makes permanent.
R is for Repitition...Repitition IS the mother of learning, using all the learning senses also makes a big impact on results.

BELIEF #4 Practice does not make perfect!!! Practice does make permanent and we play the way we practice. That is why top hitters in baseball still take daily batting practice with a coach. I believe in consistent practice. By the way...there is a big difference between "role play" and "practice."

BELIEF #5 Follow up coaching after the initial training is essential to solidify correct behaviors that produce success and reduce incorrect behaviors that produce frustration.
